Warfield Driving Show 2010
The Warfield Driving show is a fund raising event for the Warfield Riding for the Disabled Group and took place on 4th July at Moss End.
Classes:
Class 1 Pleasure Driving.
Class 2 Exercise vehicles - Singles.
Class 3 Drivers' Dream Qualifying class for style and performance.
Class 4 Coloured Horse/Pony single or multiple.
Class 5 Concours d'Elegance
For competitors in Classes 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Class 6 Concours d'Elegance
Private driving class without a road-drive for Classes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Class 7 Light Trade.
Class 8 Singles 13.2hh and under.
Class 9 Singles of over 13.2hh.
Class 10 Pairs and tandems - open any height.
Championship for first and second prize-winners in classes 7, 8, 9 and 10.
The Worshipful Company of Farriers (www.wcf.org.uk) presented the best-shod horse awards for the best shod horse in Classes 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 judged by by Mr Robin May for for The Worshipful Company of Farriers.
The Worshipful Company of Farriers awarded:
- a Rosette and an Inscribed Card to the winner in each Class.
- a Plaque to the overall winner.
- a Plaque for the Registered Farrier responsible for its feet and shoeing.
Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10 were judged by Mrs Rachel Bown.
Classes 5 and 6 were judged by the artist Mrs Sera Knight.
